Install inductors L1N, L2N, L3N and L4N.
Note: All inductors installed in phase 6 and phase 7 should be soldered 3 to 4 mm above PCB.
Install USM capacitor C2N and NPO capacitors C1N, C3N, C4N, C5N.
Install 3 pin header SV1NA and BNC connector ANT1.
Install inductors L5N, L6N, L7N, L8N,
L9N, L10N.
Install NPO capacitors C6N, C7N, C8N, C9N, C10N, C11N, C12N, C13N, C19N, C20N, C21N, C22N, C25N.
Install
resistors R4N, R5N, R6N, R7N.
Install inductor L11N.
Install NPO capacitors C1N, C2N, C3N, C15N, C17N.
Install electrolytic capacitors C18N and C26N.
Install 4 pin header SV3PB.
Install preamplifier IC1N and SMT capacitors C14N and C16N.
Soldered SMT components
Install relays RL1N to RL11N.
K3: cut 160mm of four wire flat ribbon cable.
Install crimp connectors and wire as per photo.
This completes assembly of phase 6.
Voltage test
1. Connect 12V DC power supply to plug
DC1S.
2. Check the voltage on IN [+2.78 V] and OUT [+4.43 V] pins of IC1N.
On-air test
1. Connect USB cable.
2. Start GSDR software.
3. When activating RF preamplifier and ATT, you should hear the relays clicking.
4. The RF amplifier will produce signals gain of +20
dB to +23 dB and the antennuator will reduce it by -20dB.
